Amelia Wilkinson joined Truth to Power in the spring of 2021 and is an AHS Senior. She joined Truth to Power after seeing their involvement in the community and the level of commitment to address and stand up to issues in the world. She helped to produce the podcast “Connecting Through Climate Change,” a national finalist for the NPR student podcast challenge. Amelia is passionate about the fight against climate injustices and wants to raise awareness towards the byproducts of the climate crisis and is excited work with her peers to create solutions.

Amy is a senior at AHS and is excited to continue pursuing local activism work this year. She has grown up in Ashland and sees the importance of educating and inspiring the community through action projects, and is especially motivated to work on topics she’s passionate about. Amy joined Truth to Power because she wanted to surround herself with other driven teenagers, develop community organizing skills, and learn how to speak her truths and have her voice heard.

Simone Starbird is a junior at Ashland High School and has been involved in activism and journalism work for as long as she can remember. She has been a part of Truth to Power club since her freshman year. In her free time, she likes to read, write, and cook.

Parker Greaves is a junior at Ashland High School and has been a part of Truth to Power since the beginning of her sophomore year. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing music, and is always looking for ways to make positive change in the Ashland community. Through Truth to Power, she has found a group of dedicated students like her, and she is always looking forward to the next project.
